FundMyRace was created by racers for racers

FundMyRace is a non-profit that was created by AMA motocross Pro Eric Sorby and Karting champion Jonanthan Silva with a mission to help fund the efforts and dreams of athletes.

“We’ve built a platform for top privateers and local pros/amateurs to raise funds for upcoming races, race series, and special events through donations. As a non-profit we can offer tax benefits for supporters and athletes. Racers can utilize their social media to raise funds and give updates on their efforts, which allows supporters to get involved in each racer’s progress.

It all starts with a profile page

It’s simple. Enter some basic information and upload some photos. You choose the photos and you provide the content. You can update it at any time.

Sell logo placement. Select where fans and sponsors can place their logo on your bike/helmet and set the price and events available.

Do a giveaway or special offer. Set up a special promotion and create a special giveaway do drive fundraising and engage with your supporters.

How does the funding process work?

1. Racers sign up and become members of FMR by creating a campaign page.

2. Then they create a Netevia account to receive donations directly to an FMR Visa debit card

3. Racers tell the world about their fundraising page and current goals by email, videos, and their social media.

4. Fans and followers come to their page and make secure donations.

5. The funds are loaded onto the racer’s FMR Visa debit card to use for their racing expenses.

What are FundMyRace‘s goals?

Our mission is to help privateers and up-and-coming racers by using a combination of our experience in the industry and by giving them a platform that teaches the business and marketing strategies to succeed. We want to help them build their profile and personal brand to gain new sponsorships, fans, and supporters while continuing to follow their dreams!

The heart of racing?

Privateers and amatuers are the heart of racing. For every factory racer there are thousands of up-and-coming athletes with limited resources who are doing everything they can to fund their season or get to the next race.

Fund My Race‘s goal is the help these racers crowd fund their dreams by engaging fans and the industry with a robust donation platform. We not only believe this will help the racers, but will also improve the quality of racing and grow the sports we love so much.

If you’re a privateer or amatuer, we’re here for you. If you’re a fan, sponsor, or industry professional who loves racing, we want to connect you with tomorrow’s heros.
