Meet the 2024 Madd Parts Kawasaki International SX Team!

Bubba Pauli #282

@Bubbapauli

The International SX Race Team will once again be led by owner/ athlete Bubba Pauli for the 2023 season. Bubba started the team in 2018 and is instrumental to the program and an asset within the industry. Bubba takes his leadership seriously and works hard to ensure the staff and riders are appropriately supported. Bubba has an impressive fan base and is often seen going out of his way to greet fans on race day. in addition to these notable characteristics, Bubba also serves as a USMCA (US Motorcycle Coaching Association) certified instructor where he specializes in training youth and adults on dirtbike technique.

Bubba has shown tremendous growth as a leader and athlete. He has qualified for numerous 450SX main events (2017, 2018, 2019), finished 2nd in the PulpMX Privateer Challenge in 2020 and 1st in 2022. Pauli has no quit in him. Despite a challenging 2022 year on the track competing with injuries, he fought hard each weekend and never waivered on putting the effort in during the week. Bubba went through the necessary steps this off-season to heal and is 100% for 2023.

Freddie Norén #22

@freddienoren

A very popular name in the sport and rightfully so. Freddie has earned his place numerous times on some of the largest factory teams since starting his career in the United States in 2011. Noren made the move to the USA from Sweden in order to compete at the highest level and against the biggest names of our sport.

In 2014, Freddie stepped onto the seat of a Factory Honda Racing 450 to compete in the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship. In his first season as a factory rider he placed an impressive 10th in the Championship. He proceeded to earn another top 10 in the Championship the following season and a career best 8th in the Championship in 2019. Freddie has earned over two dozen top 10 finishes and has matched his career best 7th three times! Freddie is no stranger to the front of the field and in 2022 he proved himself once again with a season best 9th place finish and 14th overall in the Championship. This season will be Noren’s first on the team but 12th season as a professional athlete. We’re excited to have this decorative athlete under our pits!

Josh Cartwright #74

@jcartwright519

In 2023, Josh qualified for 14 of 17 main events in the AMA Supercross Series.  Josh Cartwright will rejoin the MaddParts.com Kawasaki team and compete in the 450 class for all 31 rounds of the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship.

Cartwright has been competing on the pro circuit for 10 years now. In the past, he’s focused exclusively on the Monster Energy Supercross series and has multiple top 25 series points results in the 250 class and finished 23rd on the 450’s last year. His mechanic, Miles Shugg will return to wrench for Josh this year as well.
